Q: Do I have to have my own website to participate?

A: No. WORLDRES.com will provide you with a free mini website, which will appear on the World Wide Web [www] on the Travel Montana site as well as other WORLDRES.com partner sites.


Q: Do I have to put my entire inventory up for this reservation service?

A: You must allocate 10% of your hotel capacity or a minimum of 5 rooms nightly, whichever is greater, via the WorldRes distribution system.


Q: How are reservations confirmed to my property?

A: You may have reservations faxed or emailed to your property (or both). You can also access reservations through the WORLDRES.com Administration system, to which you will have access for your property. WorldRes immediately confirms the reservation to both the guest and the property.


Q: How much will it cost me to connect to WORLDRES.com?

A: As a member of the Montana Innkeepers Association (MIKA), the $250 enrollment fee is waived. All services provided, including formatting your property pages on the WORLDRES.com site are at no charge to you. During "Step two" of the online enrollment process, click on the link entitled "Enrolling as a referral by your local Destination Marketing Organization (Hotel & Motel Association, Convention & Visitors Bureau or Chamber of Commerce).


Q: WORLDRES.com isn't going to give me this service for nothing. How do they make their money?

A: Transaction Fees: Transaction fees are based on the type of program you choose. Click on http://www.worldres.com/ and "Enroll Online" for all the details!


Q: How do I join WorldRes?

A: Once you have completed the on-line enrollment form and fax'd back the "WorldRes Agreement" form, a WorldRes.com Representative will contact you. They will set up your site on the system. Once you have been assigned a password, you may begin to input your property, content, inventory and rates.


Q: Do I need any special equipment to participate in the on-line reservation program?

A: You must have Internet access at your property to update rates, availability, content and receive online reservation confirmations.
