State Room Rates: The state rate is tied to the federal room rate year around in Montana. The federal and state rate for the majority of Montana from October 1, 2010 - September 30, 2011 is $77 with higher or seasonal rates in Big Sky, West Yellowstone, Butte, Helena, Missoula, Polson and Kalispell.
