State Room Rates: The state rate is tied to the federal room rate year around in Montana. The federal and state rate for the majority of Montana from October 1, 2010 - September 30, 2011 is $77 with higher or seasonal rates in Big Sky, West Yellowstone, Butte, Helena, Missoula, Polson and Kalispell.  Since the state room rates are tied to the federal they are the same as those listed in the  “Federal Room Rates” section.
