Chief Maintenance Engineer:
La Quinta Inn and Suites - Billings is seeking a full-time maintenance manager for its 87-unit property, which includes an indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. Candidate must be goal-oriented, organized, have good communication skills, must be a self-starter and service oriented.
Responsibilities include maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of the hotel, to include exterior of building, parking lot, common areas, maintaining of all guest room equipment, conducting monthly safety inspections and training of staff on safety and emergency procedures. The Chief Maintenance Engineer must be willing to respond to emergencies, even if after hours. This position requires overall general maintenance knowledge and repair and trouble-shooting abilities with skills in painting, HVAC, carpentry, equipment and tool usage. Certified Pool Operators license is preferred, but not required.
